Syro-Malabar Archiepiscopal Church is one of the 22 sui iuris Oriental Churches in Catholic Communion with its own particular characteristics expressed in worship, spirituality, theology and disciplinary laws. The Syro-Malabar church trace its origins to St. Thomas the Apostle who is believed to have come to India in AD 52. The Syro-Malabar Archiepiscopal Church, which has been described as "Christian in faith, Oriental in worship, and Indian in culture,"

Together we will build and grow! My first Sunday and first week was exciting and encouraging. I could see the spirit of unity and vitality within the members and community. Congratulations to Ligory Achan, Trustees (Kaikkarens), Committee members for your excellent leadership, coordination and hard work in forming this community and buying this new church facility as well! I am glad that Bishop Angadiath has appointed me as your Pastor/Vicar, and take it as a privilege and honor to me. This is the 7th parish I am working.
